Hair:
Short, cut like a boy’s, and a dark blue color. Despite coming to terms with herself as a woman, she still prefers this sort of haircut.
Eyes:
Dark blue, almost closer to black than they should be.
Height:
When female, she is 5’0” tall, but when male, he is 5’5”.
Weight:
110 lbs as a girl, 120 lbs as a guy.
Clothing Style:
Typically, she will wear guy’s clothing, simple as that: she prefers to wear the boy’s uniform, in the spring she’ll wear it without the jacket and in the fall, she’ll wear a light jacket over her shirt. She generally just doesn’t like the girl’s uniform, so she tends to avoid it.
Extra:
Always wears a dark blue cabbie hat, and is almost never spotted without it. One could argue that without it, she seems to have some serious hat hair.

Personality:
Naoto has tried all of her life to be a hard boiled detective like her parents before her, comfortable with sacrificing whatever was necessary to achieve her dream. As such, she doesn’t have many people she tolerates and even fewer that she’d actually call friends. She did not care for romance and still doesn’t hold it in very high regard. At the same time, she hates being looked down upon by her superiors at work for aloofness or childishness, both of which seem to follow her around like the nickname ‘Detective Prince’.
However, she isn’t the sort of person who would need to be constantly rescued: her cool head and quick thinking, along with the fact she wouldn’t trust most people to save her keep her safe from danger in the end. She is self-conscious about her female body and tends to literally keep herself wrapped up both in her mind and in actuality in regards to her curves. She finally acknowledged that she can still be a hard-boiled detective as a female with Souji Seta’s help, but that didn’t mean that she would actually change the way she dressed or acted.
Finally, she tries to act very masculine at most times, though with the recent development of becoming male, she still acts slightly too feminine. For now, she is caught in a limbo of androgyny, the mystery of which she still cannot figure out.
Timeline:
Post true end of Persona 4, a few months after it.
History:
When Naoto was very young, her parents died tragically during an investigation. Her grandfather took her in, and she loves him very much: him and his butler for the longest time, were her only friends. She took several small jobs with police departments before, and because of her ability to put things together, she was able to put the mysteries together and solve them. This was how she started to earn the title of Detective Prince, and eventually, she was sent to work on a major investigation in Inaba regarding the unsolved murders.
She realized that the kidnappings that were happening seemed to be involved as well, and realized that the next victim after Yukiko Amagi was to be Kanji Tatsumi. She questioned him about his habits, anything that might lead her on the trail of the true killer. Unfortunately, nothing came of it, and later they were able to apprehend Mitsuo Kubo, who claimed to have committed the murders by himself. But something about it still didn’t seem right, so she used herself as bait to try and figure out what was truly going on. After being rescued from her shadow self by the Investigation Team, she learned to use the power of Sukuna-Hikona, and joined the team. Eventually, she became pretty good friends with them, and they realized that the murderer could have been Taro Namatame, but things still didn’t add up: further investigation revealed the killer had been none other than Tohru Adachi of the Police Force. Still further looking into things revealed the true cause behind all of the madness and fog in Inaba revealed that the true antagonist was actually the ancient goddess Izanami, and Souji was able to defeat her lies with the power of Izanagi-no-Okami.
And yet, even after all of this, something was still amiss. Not a month after defeating her, Naoto started to have strange flu-like symptoms that would appear for a day and then leave. There was no way to explain them, so she simply brushed them off. However, one day after a particularly bad night, she woke up to find that she had evidently grown five inches in the night. There was one more thing she realized as she woke up, however: she was no longer female. Somehow in the night, she’d been transformed into a guy, with no explanation. The normally level-headed detective panicked and tried to figure out what the hell had happened. She pretended like nothing was wrong despite the fact that her voice had deepened and she was starting to grow some facial hair. A month passed with her trying to hide the transformation from her grandfather and her friends, until she went to sleep again one night and woke up, just as female as ever. No explanation, no change in what she’d been doing, she was simply once again a girl.
Naturally, this has led her to try and find what had happened during that night to change her back into a female. The only lead she had was the changing of the moon, which at the time should have been a new moon. Now, with days left of the current moon cycle, she’s watching it change slowly, wondering if the bizarre transformation would happen again.
