Irresponsibly ruthless words fill this town but
Never more, will a painful voice flow by
"Delicate dame, her fragile face
Was scared away without a trace
Out in the cold, where did she go?
Into unknown a place I'll never know"
Those days we spent casually are bidding farewell to us
As we lose those irreplaceable days

The rain hides the sun, stealing away its light
I am troubled as I lost what I believed in

Hair:
Messy, unkempt black hair. Gin keeps it smoothed back out of his own laziness to deal with it.
Eyes:
Sharp, brown eyes. Intimidating at first glance.
Height:
6'2"
Weight:
190 lbs.
Clothing Style:
Gin sports his working attire in the duration of Devil Survivor(As if he had a choice). It includes the typical bartender uniform: black vest, black pants, white-collar shirt, and a navy tie to top it all off. Gin's a down-to-earth guy, so his style outside of work would presumably be the same. Very casual, but sophisticated. Gin's impressive aura speaks more for him than his clothes do.
Extra:
Gin's laid back appearance wouldn't be complete without his signature goatee. He also carries a stylish strap that hangs from his right belt loop.
I won’t forget those days that I spent with everyone precious to me
Never more, will I be alone even in the darkness

- Kind
Negative:
- Merciless
- Desensitized

- Sarcastic
- One-track mind
Personality:
Eiji "Gin" Kamiya is just your average mammoth-sized bartender in Tokyo. With the job he has a responsibility to get along with his customers. By second-nature, he is an amiable spirit with a knack for listening to others and observing situations. He can quickly analyze the very nature of people by relating to his own past experiences. Gin is also very straightforward, and will not hesitate to speak his mind. Overall, Gin is a very calm, brotherly figure whom many resort to whenever they need a helping hand or an open ear. He looks out for Tokyo's younger generation, hoping to keep them off the streets. There is a reason behind that, however. Gin used to be a punk, and still retains some of his bad habits from those days. Outside of his working hours, he is very informal, sarcastic, and has a tendency to resort to brutal honesty. Gin's mind, while unquestionably intelligent, runs on one track. Once he sets his sights on a goal, he will never abandon it, and will pursue it with every fiber of his being. He is merciless, and his crime-filled days have desensitized him to gore, as he doesn't hesitate to threaten to cut off some pieces of the human anatomy later on in Devil Survivor. Unlike most of the civilians in the game, he is not at all phased by the lockdown or the power outage(Although he does become slightly frustrated that it is bad for business), and quickly adapts to the supernatural phenomena that occurs. He very rarely lets his temper consume him, but in the unfortunate event that it does happen, he should be avoided at all costs. Overall, Gin is someone whose good side anyone would want to be on; his bad side has a tendency to make grown men cry.
Timeline:
Day six of Devil Survivor. The main cast was too late to help Gin fend off the mob of Shomonkai, and he was inevitably overpowered and hanged to death.
History:
Gin was not raised in a financially well-endowed family, and as a result of sub-par parenting, resorted to a life of crime. Since he hardly attended school, Gin decided to drop out and lived the remainder of his teenage years on the streets. Extortion, under-aged drinking, and suspected murder were just a few of many to make his intimidating repertoire. As a result of his activities, Gin garnered local notoriety. He eventually climbed the hierarchy of the streets with the help of his brute strength and mammoth stature. Life of indulgence and notoriety was sufficient for Gin until one fateful day when he met Aya---the lead vocalist for an indie band called D-Va. Flirtatious by nature, Gin continued meeting with Aya, who was something of a flirt herself. She cared little for what the name "Eiji Kamiya" meant on the streets, and her unyielding nature eventually influenced Gin into a life for the better. He quit his unscrupulous ways and with Aya's help opened his own bar "Eiji". In the days they spent together, Aya introduced Yoshino "Haru"sawa to Gin, who would eventually become her guardian and look after her well-being. With a girl like Aya at his side, Gin's reputation was mended, and he eventually became known as brotherly figure in Tokyo for the way he looked after the younger generations.
One day, Gin received a phone call from Aya for him to pick her up after D-Va's practice session. When he arrived, Aya was nowhere to be found, and things remained that way for the next six months. In order to preserve Haru's shaky esteem and unstable mentality, Gin forged a lie that Aya had decided to study music overseas. As a result of Aya's absence, Haru became a solo artist and Gin never missed a concert. However, Gin had been secretly investigating Aya's disappearance for months.
When August had struck, a mysterious order from the government issued a lockdown around Tokyo. COMPs began to become widespread within the lockdown, and with their sudden appearance came that of demons. A mysterious orange-clad cult called the Shomonkai became prominent within the lockdown's borders---a group which Gin would later associate with the disappearance of his beloved Aya. Gin quickly adapted to the situation and even mastered a COMP of his own, which Naoya Kunogi had placed before the unknowing Gin prior to the lockdown. He later befriended Arashi Kunogi, Yuzu Tanikawa, and Atsuro Kihara, whose assistance would prove vital for Gin to solve the mystery of Aya's disappearance. With their help, Gin confirmed that the Shomonkai were the ones who could ultimately answer his question.
However, Gin's investigation impeded on the Shomonkai's agenda. With false information they were able to ambush Gin and overpower him in spite of the desperate fight he had put up against their overwhelming numbers. Gin was hanged to death on the sixth day of the lockdown.
I will find it, that precious thing that I lost
