Personality:
Kira is said to be a 'dangerous' man by those who know him... Though he's not always the most violent of people, in situations where it calls for it he is skilled. Moreso, what makes him 'dangerous', are his constantly shifting morals. He's afraid of dieing, and has a certain fondness for people in general, but delights in seeing them suffer and the results that strenuous situations have on a persons psyche. His love for life and humans in general makes it somewhat hard to understand just what it really is that makes him tick, but he himself will admit that he's "insane"... Though not an outright liar, he bends the truth and has a way of bending whats right and whats wrong. He feels he has never actually been 'loved', though he understands the idea of it, and has a certain envy for those that are naturally surrounded by the care of others. He may come across like he takes everything as nothing more than a game, but at the same time he, on some level, understands keenly the value of life. Thats not to say he's at all the kind of guy to protect others, unless, of course, he thinks he might be able to ultimately get something out of it.
Timeline:
Kira lived in the Tokyo area when the original events of Persona 3 were going on; as someone interested in humans and a merchant of information he was of course well aware of the spread of Apathy Syndrome and the small cult uprising that occurred around Port Island, and the sudden ceasing of it all.
History:
Coming from an unremarkably ordinary family, Kira matured young, and had a jaded, cynical view of the world barely half-way through junior high. He often did whatever he could to alieve his immense boredom, quickly finding more... dangerous ways of doing so. He took up parkour, skills which caught the attention of some low-life thugs, and soon found he could get some thrills, and some cash, by acting as a 'deliverer' of information between gangs.
Though he never actively participated in the gangs affairs, he saw his share of foul and sinister things, but also noticed that similar deeds could be witnessed everywhere in the world around him. Soon he came to realize that it was easy to manipulate events and information, and thus, people to meet his own ends; his own entertainment, and strove to not only continue in this 'amusing lifestyle', but to be the best at it. He knew he would never be content with living an 'ordinary life', and so has always done all he could to work towards a life worth living...
