She tends to stay reserve and prefers being off by herself. To strangers, she will act cold and disinterested, still somewhat clinging to her fear of attachment. However, once she begins to close to somehow, she will reveal a more gentler, humorous side to them. Chidori is mentally unstable and that shows in her personality. She is able to take things normally taken as taboo in stride and clings emotionally to Medea, regardless of the numerous times the person has tried to kill her. She will also occasionally harm herself, just seeing it as something to do rather than something painful. Even though she cannot remember well, Junpei has caused her to change quite a bit. She is less reluctant to talk or confide towards others and harming herself becomes less and less frequent. She's more willing to socialize but still can't approach it quite well. CHARACTER TIME PERIOD: Persona 3 timeline, after being brought back to life. HISTORY: During her childhood Chidori was, alongside 99 other orphans, were taken off the streets and forced to participate in an experimental project headed by the Kirijo group. Undergoing treatments and gaining powers that she never asked for, Chidori became one of the surviving three children who became an artificial persona user. However, it was from a success. She was given a gift that was never meant to be hers; as a result her powers became unstable and her persona, Medea, constantly tried to kill her. It was only with pills called suppressants was she able to keep in control but under the condition of having the drug slowly kill her. Because she shared this cruel with two others, Takaya Sakaki and Jin Shirato, they formed an unusual bond. All together, they became Strega. Through Takaya's words, she refused to let her short life bother her. She became to numb to the fear of death and, like he often said, began to live for the moment. Dying meant nothing, it shouldn't bother her. It wouldn't bother her. It was nothing. She realized what her true fear was, however, when she met Junpei Iori. He was an idiotic and loud young man who taken an interest in her. His attempts to socialize with her were at first shrugged off as a mild annoyance and shooed him off when she could. But when he let off hints that he was the leader of SEES, she decided to use him. She took him hostage and tried to have call off every moon mission, to keep the dark hour safe. But the mission was successful and she became the hostage of SEES instead. They kept imprisoned in the hospital, one of the places she hated most. It would have been unbearable if it weren't Junpei visiting nearly every single day. As her time spent with him grew, so did she. She could laugh with him, smile at him and makes jokes with him... she still hadn't shook off her social awkwardness but the experience and feelings were making her happy. And it frightened her. Afraid of getting hurt, she asked Junpei never to visit her again. Later, the rest of Strega broke in to rescue her and remind her of where her loyalties should lie. Understanding that that was how it should be, she left with them to have one final showdown with the SEES team. With a flash of personas, chained attacks and cried out words... Chidori lost. But this didn't upset her. Being weak didn't trouble. It was the fact that Junpei still cared about her well-being, running towards her and making sure she was alright. He represented her true fear: Attachment. And with a shot of Takaya's gun, it was cruelly taken away. She decided, however, that she enjoyed that attachment. She enjoyed Junpei's presence-- she loved him. And she wanted to let him live. She used her special ability, the power to emit and give life and sacrificed herself for Junpei. Happy she found someone that made her happy and that her life essence would live and dwell within him, she died peacefully in his arms. But she was later given a second chance. Whenever Junpei would visit her, she brought life to the flowers that wilted by windowsill. Those very flowers were laid to rest beside her by her doctor. The plants wilted once mre and her life force was borught to her. She was healthy, with the ill side effects gone forever. But there was a price -- she lost her memories of the dark hour and Junpei Iori. As of now, she is under the care of the Kirijo group, slowly trying to relive her life and aiming to find the warm person from her dreams. As time goes on, however, she starts to faintly remember a period of glowing green and a long dark tower...
