However a majority of people accept and acknowledge his intellectual superiority and give in to his every word, this can make him manipulative at times. But on the lighter side of things his quick thinking makes him excellent at making tactics and his self confidence allows him to make his point heard and hopefully obeyed, and his calm personality makes him the last one to freak out. He never submits to failure, instead finds a way around it and leads himself and any study partners straight to success. CHARACTER TIME PERIOD: From Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner. Though currently being fitted into the Persona / BND period HISTORY: A single child to a family that adopted him when he was young. He grew up in a strict household that raised him on a diet of studying, his parents became obsessed with wanting him having only the best, as a result he got the best clothes, the best education and was practically spoiled rotten. However the stresses of parents and teachers expecting nothing but high grades and perfection left him with no time to mingle with people his own age. No siblings and no friends Serph was great at problem solving yet had terrible people skills. As he got older he cared less and less about people and found himself having to force himself to 'like' people in order to work with them. It was on rare occasion he'd generally get along with some one. Now living in a university campus he's had to face his peers on a day to day bases even outside of lessons and is slowly starting to understand how to deal with people, but he feels he'll never understand what appears to be happening to the city in which he lives, and he just can't get himself to ignore it..
