Unlike her younger siblings, for the most part Margaret remains a cool, collected Velvet Room attendant. She rarely shows her emotions, remaining sophisticated and dignified. She believes that one should remain dutiful and loyal, putting their emotions to the side in order to complete the task set in front of them.
Under her cool smile, she is more like her brother and sister—enjoying jokes and telling silly stories. However, Margaret only shows her emotions to those she trusts and feels comfortable with. Because of this, she often finds it difficult to express herself and understand the feelings of others. She hopes to remedy this by spending more time outside the confines of her duties in the Velvet Room. Practice makes perfect!

Margaret assisted her sister and brother as they respectively guided Minato and Minako, giving each a series of tasks created from their memories. Though she came to understand their strength, she was still unable to understand why her siblings were so taken with them. Why had they made such a difference in the lives of her brother and sister? She continued to seek the answer, even after both of them left to find a way to free the one they had come to love.
A year passed, and soon there was another guest to replace them. Due to her siblings’ abscences, she became an assistant alongside Igor. The guest’s name: Souji Seta. Either by chance or fate, he once appeared while her master was away, thus giving her the opportunity to greet him instead. Intrigued by his power, she began giving him a series of specific Personae to create. Through this, she hoped to help him train his soul, but she also hoped to become closer to him, and perhaps gain insight into the seemingly bizarre actions of her siblings.
Over time, she became more and more intrigued with Souji, and in the process let slip a little bit of her whimsical side. By the time she realized that she was in love with her guest, it was too late. Her sin could not be taken back. On his last day in the quiet town, she stepped out of the Velvet Room for the first time in order to commit one last sin—a kiss goodbye.
Margaret challenged Souji to a battle in order to test his power, as well as to discover more about her own intentions. After her defeat, she realized that she had come to feel the same towards Souji as her brother and sister had felt towards the previous guest. Finally, she understood the reasoning behind their actions, and the motives that had driven them to do what they did. Margaret then vowed to do everything in her power to rescue Souji if the same fate befell him.
After that, Margaret resumed her Velvet Room duties with little interruption, although she continued to think of Souji often. Now, however, due to recent disturbances and the sudden return of her brother and sister, she has begun to venture outside more often. Remembering only stories of the world outside of the Velvet Room, she is quite unknowledgeable and as prone to curiosity as her brother and sister.
