However, he’s conflicted with himself because he feels like he isn’t really meant to be a part of the human world, and has thoughts of returning home. Still, a lot of the time he completely forgets about the TV world in favor of whatever’s on TV. CHARACTER TIME PERIOD: Post-P4 HISTORY: (Teddie story arc spoilers, but not endgame character identities) Starting out as a Shadow wandering the TV world, Teddie came to realize that he wanted to be loved by humans. This desire manifested itself as an adorable bear suit, though it was completely hollow to begin with. Shortly after becoming “Teddie”, he forgot his true intentions and continued living in the TV world until something came crashing in. An intruder. Someone had begun throwing people inside the TV somehow, but Teddie had no means to stop them. That is, until Souji and the gang fell in themselves. After promising to help him, they left and continued the investigation. Teddie became their support because he was unable to fight, and they saved everyone who fell into the TV after that. Through this time and the new experiences that came with it, Teddie began to question who and what he was. Soon, he had his own Shadow to deal with. After gaining an ego and a Persona, Teddie decided that he wasn’t empty inside, and that he would train hard in order to become strong enough to support his new friends. He soon discovered that he was literally not hollow anymore. His ego had manifested itself in an actual body inside his bear suit. He left the TV world for the first time, and to the disbelief of the Investigation Team, emerged from his bear suit as a sparkling bishie. Together, they came closer and closer to the killer, and eventually found them. They were able to stop the kidnappings and the killings, and Teddie realized that he wanted to stay with his friends instead of returning to his world like he had promised, but was that really the end of the story? Teddie remembers fighting a great power before Souji left the town and that his world was partially restored to the way it was meant to be, but can’t recall the murderer’s identity nor the final boss’.
