Landon is from the Wild Wild West of North America. That time period ended a long time ago, but he still likes to talk about things that happened back then. Landon is about as addicted to the stories of the old days as he is addicted to beer. He is what would be considered as the "logical drunk," where he can still "act" like a normal person before someone catches on that he is indeed drunk. Although he's from the West, he doesn't act like a cowboy. Instead, he has a rather deep western accent that has no significant weight attached to it. He loves the ladies, and will do anything to try and impress them, although it doesn't go so well 90% of the time. His Persona, Hell Biker, was influenced by two factors: The first is that he drives a Harley motorcycle everywhere, and the second is that he grew up reading the Ghost Rider comic series by Marvel.

History:
Landon was born in Texas, the very heart of the Wild Wild West back in the day. He lived his life without abandon, and that's when he made a terrible mistake. Ten years prior to the current day, he met an Asian woman, Rachel Cho, at the local bar he frequented and tried to impress her by telling some jokes and being flirtatious. Much to his surprise, it worked, and she decided to go out with him. They ended up "going at it" one time, and Landon accidentally knocked her up. A few months later, she announced miscarriage and left Landon to move back to Japan. He just continued to live his life as normal, until ten months prior to the current day, he received a letter.
The letter was from his 9-year-old daughter, Sarah Cho, who wanted to write an innocent letter to her father. She was born on the 17th of August, exactly two months and seven days before Landon's birthday. The letter explained that she lived in Japan with her mother and she really wanted to meet her father, and it also came with a picture of Sarah and her mother Rachel. This was one of the few times that Landon broke down into tears. First of all, the fact that Rachel lied to him and left him was the bad news. But the fact that he was actually a father now made him so happy that he was able to look past that.
He decided that he was going to go overseas to go see Rachel and Sarah. But he had no money to be able to afford a plane ticket to go over there. For the next nine months, he worked his ass off to try and raise the money to go to Japan. Now in the current day, he has just arrived in Japan and is now roams in-between Iwatodai, Inaba, and Aoba trying to find his daughter, only using the picture he was given as a reference tool.

The blade is an iai sword that is kept hidden inside a wooden stick, and its hilt is also made of wood. It almost looks like a walking cane that he keeps on him for seemingly no reason, but it retains its true purpose rather well.
