Not a whole lot usually seems to get Ender down, and if it does, he usually bounces right back. - Straight-forward - Ender usually makes it a point to be upfront about things, though he has enough tact and consideration to not be 'brutally blunt'. - Devoted - To the things he really cares about. NEGATIVES: - Defensive - Usually self-defensive, he can be quick to jump on the defense (offense?) if he feels like he's being targeted, though generally only by friends or people he's comfortable with. Otherwise he'd just get quiet and maybe joke around about it like it was nothing, but still be bitter and a touch venomous underneath. - Flippant - It's pretty rare to see him being genuinely serious about something. This could also count as a positive, as he doesn't ever really take things seriously enough to get butthurt or hold grudges. - Shameless Flirt - Absolutely downright shameless.Whether its man or woman doesn't even matter sometimes, if he's attracted to them in anyway, he's probably flirting it up a bit. He can be pretty mellow about it though, laid-back and joking, but sometimes people will take him too seriously and he ends up having to explain himself and feeling like a jerk. - Mischievous - Sadistic - This usually only applies when the bloods starting to spill, but also a little prior to, and maybe on certain restless nights. Still, there's usually a fight on the way somehow. OVERALL PERSONALITY: Generally spirited and outgoing, he tends to go with the flow and tries to make the most out of whatever comes his way. He can come across as a gentleman in some cases, and a prankster in others, always trying to keep things interesting. There are times in which he might pick on others, but always in good fun, and even moreso if they pick right back. He likes to think of himself as a Casanova, though he takes no bias towards men or women in particular. He is pleasant and polite, quite lively and not at all shy. Rarely is he rude, though quite honest, almost to the point of brutality at times, though he usually is eloquent and restrained, showing his underlying maturity. To those who are close to him, he is joking and lewdly flirtatious, a smooth-talker, with a genuine charisma. He can be quite playful, but there are times, contrarily, where he can become frightfully serious and upright when the situation demands. Even then he still retains a casual demeanor. CHARACTER TIME PERIOD: ~ó~ HISTORY: What kind of name is that? Definitely not Asian, and it hardly seems like it'd be a 'normal' name in most places... No, Ender doesn't actually know for sure himself. His parents traveled, a lot, well before he was born, and having a kid? Well, it wasn't going to stop them. He never really thought to ask, either, since they were always moving from one place to another. His father, the archaeologist, his mother the ever-ready photographer, they raised Ender to have a very open view of the world. There were always so many other things to be done than wonder about a name. All he really knows is he was born somewhere in the... Middle East, or, ~there-abouts~. He spent childhood years in Egypt, Turkey, Italy, Romania, and parts of Russia. "Home"-schooled, English was his first language, but being trailed around with his parents, he obviously ended up learning bits and pieces of a whole lot more, though sometimes he's been known to get a few mixed up, or replace words in one language if he can't think of it in another. He's hardly at all what one could call fluent in most, but does well particularly with Italian. Ah, Italy. His parents loved it, he loved it. He was sixteen at the time, when his parents became close friends with the Mantovani family, who, as far as Ender was aware, were somehow extended family. When his parents decided it was time to move on a few years later, it was agreed upon that Ender, as with his wishes, could remain with the Mantovani's, attend school properly, graduate, and decide whether he would join his parents again afterwards or pursue his own goals. One might assume that his time in Italy taught him all of his charms, tricks, and guiles. He also found, however, the same fascinations with cultures of the world that his parents shared, and though loved his time in Italy, soon felt he had stayed too long, used to bein on the move more often and seeing new things. After graduation, he joined his parents again, studying with his father and snapping pictures with his mother. They ended up in Japan, as once can probably guess, and it was around this time Ender decided, as pleasant as it was, traveling with his parents all the time, while fulfilling and fun, put a certain stifle on both their lifes and his. At twenty he settled into the quiet Inaba area, attending a nearby college and finding the fulfullment of enjoying and emersing himself in a culture the way he had with Italy. He realizes one day he'll probably get bored and go join his parents for a few years again (they keep in touch as often as possible), but for now he's content with the discoveries to be made where he is.
