Irresponsibly ruthless words fill this town but
Never more, will a painful voice flow by
Another head aches, another heart breaks
I am so much older than I can take
And my affection, well it comes and goes
I need direction to perfection, no no no no
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier
Those days we spent casually are bidding farewell to us
As we lose those irreplaceable days

Hair:
Long, straight white hair; when he had noticed that it was beginning to gray, he took the incentive to dye all of it white in an attempt to embrace the new, as well as cement himself with the look of a wise, eccentric professor. His facial hair is in a full beard of the same color; it is trimmed only so as not to be a hassle.
Eyes:
Pale silver, with a hint of blue at close distances.
Height:
6’2’’
Weight:
225 pounds.
Clothing Style:
A very consistent work attire consisting of a formal white dress shirt and khaki pants, both covered by a long, beige trench coat, with a pair of brown dress shoes. If he is not teaching or directing, he may take off the trench coat--changing into his “casual” attire of dress clothes.
Extra:
He wears thin-rimmed spectacles over his eyes, and he keeps an old-fashioned pocket watch in the front pocket of his trench coat.
I won’t forget those days that I spent with everyone precious to me
Never more, will I be alone even in the darkness

Personality:
In the intense world of theatre education, Kutsukake is a badass who follows his own rules! Well, he takes his job very seriously, and he is firmly convinced that no one knows how to do it better than he does. Having spent the past forty years of his life in some form of musical theatre, he treats everyone else’s experience as inferior.
He has a tendency to alienate himself from both faculty and students with his harsh, aggressive, judgmental language. He is not afraid to insult students, especially if they aren’t doing the job right. He will not put up with any form of confrontation against him. Kutsukake was raised in the old-school form of theatre--“the actor must show up to every rehearsal and stay for the duration; the director’s word is first, only, and final; the actor is always in-character; the actor must never waste any time resting, courting, or arguing; anyone can and will be replaced; and, finally, any “actor” who doesn’t know his lines is not an actor.” He keeps these five guidelines posted on the corner of his chalkboard.
However, Kutsukake is only vainly trying to hold onto his conservative childhood, struggling to change with the world around him--namely, the world that’s been dropping the theatrical arts like a bad habit. He adores them dearly, clearly prioritizing theatre in front of any other aspect of his life--thus why he doesn’t appear to care for human relations.
He does not with to seem apathetic--more of the exact opposite. He truly wishes the best for his students, including the best production possible. However, to accomplish this, he can’t appear too concerned for their feelings. The life in theatre created his independent, initiative-centered nature, and he wants all of his students to mature similarly.
Kutsukake firmly believes that his class, as well as his after-school program, should always be considered more important than any other class. This is not out of disrespect to other teachers (even if it seems that way), but out of reverence for the arts. Kutsukake owes everything he has to theatre, and he feels that only he acknowledges its true educational and maturing power.
In his personal life, he is much more reserved--not that anyone would know, as there isn’t really anyone with whom he spends time.

History:
Hidehisa Kutsukake was born into an open-minded Japanese family in Kyoto that had pushed him in many different directions, attempting to turn him into a well-rounded, hardworking individual who could do whatever he wanted. As a teenager, he had taken interests in soccer, choir, school, politics, and, most importantly, theatre.
Under the direction of his mother, he had already accepted the lead role in the musical Pinocchio at age ten to start his to-be illustrious career. The performance went over fantastically, and, from the first curtain call, young Hidehisa was addicted. He performed in the local theatre all throughout his primary education, growing more and more comfortable with the whole atmosphere; it was not long before he decided that this would be the only career choice for him.
With his parents’ funding, Hidehisa, accompanied by his longtime girlfriend Sayoko Yoshida, traveled at America and enrolled at UCLA as a theatre major. Before he graduated, he and Sayoko married, and, as they say, all was well.
However, the stress of Hidehisa’s struggle for fame grew too much for the both of them--Hidehisa, for being stuck in anonymity, and Sayoko, for having to work and take care of her husband. In one last grasp for fame, Hidehisa was offered a role in the movie adaptation of Fiddler on the Roof by a very influential producer.
In a series of romantic entanglements that were meant to be purely business by Hidehisa, this female producer grew very close to him. She offered the role to him, but only if he would divorce Sayoko and marry the producer herself.
After much deliberation, Hidehisa eventually agreed to these terms, and painfully divorced his wife. However, upon marrying the producer, he was told that he wouldn’t be cast because of the Asian influence in his skin.
Obviously very distraught by this (not to mention, pissed…), Hidehisa returned to his family in Japan with a terrible impression of American lifestyle. With two wives and dreams of fame behind him, Kutsukake set off in a career in Japanese education. He would never give up theatre, but, if nothing else, he could give his talent to another young hopeful.
However, this idea wasn’t as appealing as it originally seemed, and he was embittered by giving the fame to children. After bouncing around from school to school after various scuffles with faculty and authority, Hidehisa Kutsukake found himself with a job opportunity at Gekkoukan high school, teaching English, Speech, and Theatre.
I will find it, that precious thing that I lost
Never more, because I’m sure your voice will guide me
