R E B E L L I O N HEIGHT:
5'8"
WEIGHT:
149 lbs.
HAIR:
As a general statement, his brown hair is long, however, he at least tries to keep it tidy. His bangs for example, only reach his eyebrows. On each side of his head, along the sides where his sideburns would be, is a rather thick strand of hair that is about the length of his face. His hair is also kept up in a ponytail, which is about the length of his neck, and held up by a gray armband. The ponytail itself is shaped somewhat like a lampshade, for lack of better description.
EYES:
Green
GENERAL STYLE:
His typical clothing style is that of the Gekkoukan school uniform, since he is of course, going to school there. Resting on the left side of his body is his single strap, tan leather bag, which holds various items such as books and other school utensils. There is also a hard, black case for his glasses that he needs to wear in order to see. The glasses are thin framed, and black. His out of school wear is usually a long sleeved shirt, and a pair of jeans. One of his main sets of clothes is a light blue, long sleeved shirt, and a forest green pair of jeans. The jeans are held up by a brown belt, with a gray buckle. His shoes are merely white in color, and are zipped up instead of tied. On the foot part of each shoe are two, black, horizontal stripes. The shoes are long enough for him to tuck in his jeans into them.
EXTRAS:
Only two other things of note, one being that his skin color is semi-dark (for better imagery, look up Jimenez from SMT: Strange Journey, as his skin color is essentially Tomo's). The other is that he is rather thing, not anorexic, but not exactly strong.

the C O N T R A C T POSITIVES:
- Book Smart - Polite - Respectful - Awesome Cook - Helpful, to an extent
NEGATIVES:
- Timid, as in, REALLY timid - Gives in easily - Can't make his own, personal decisions (although little things, he can) - Paranoid - Freaks out easily
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
The main trait that he displays is his timid nature. Tomonari usually stutters around most people, scared of more or less everybody. He generally remains quiet around others though, and intstead tries to not talk except for a few words at most. Although it's rather obvious that he's trying to lie, since he can't lie to save his life, Tomonari will still try to make something up in order to not talk with someone. However, this action he doesn't do too often, and is really for when things start to get too uncomfortable for him. If someone he's close to is around him, like his father, Tomonari will generally hide behind him or her. With this timid nature of his also comes the fact that he is usually worried or paranoid about something.
Even with how he normally acts, Tomonari is a rather polite and honest kid. No matter if someone is an enemy or something or the sort, he will generally try and not be rude to he or she. The downside to this whole polite deal, is two things. For one, he tends to overly apologize, and sometimes even start to panic if he messes up. Though this is the result of the first downside, Tomonari also, despite wanting to try and help someone, worries that he'll mess up and hesitate before doing anything, or even not do anything at all. Generally, this whole polite business is to not get anyone mad at him, though this doesn't really work sometimes, no matter how polite he is.
His biggest problem, perhaps, is his more or less addiction to reading and studying. This habit is not out of him wanting to be better than anyone else, however. Instead, Tomonari does this in order to make sure his father doesn't worry about him, though he is always holding a book in his hands pretty much everywhere. He generally does not go outside much, and stays in his room or somewhere quiet to read or study. Though this is mainly studying, Tomonari has become partial to reading, though when it comes to fiction, he loves reading detective novels, which also extends to detective based movies. What he doesn't know, however, is that this sort of addiction to reading worries his father in reality.
As for other likes, Tomonari enjoys cooking. It's his favorite sort of chore to do, and has taken quite a few classes regarding cooking, planning on making it his major once he reaches college. Becoming a chef is his number one priority after general education. Though he hardly plays it anymore, baseball is something that he is quite fond of. He used to play it for a couple years when he was a kid, but stopped at one point. If he is not reading something while in his room, he tends to have a baseball in his hands, sometimes throwing it up and down into the air and catching it occasionally.

HISTORY:
Originally, Tomonari was born in Sydney, Australia, of both Indigenous Australian and Japanese decent. His father was Dane Cahal, while his mother was Satome Cahal. However, despite the fact that his parents were in fact married, Tomonari only lived with his mother for the first seven years of his life. His father was in the military, and so, hardly had a chance to see his father. It was during this time that he shared more time with his mother. Because of this, the boy had grown to become attatched his mother greatly. This also meant that whenever someone he didn't share a real bond with, like his father, came around, he didn't want to leave his mother at all. There really was nothing that could be done, so Tomonari was left alone on the matter.
After the first seven years of his life, his father had decided to retire from the military and come home. This didn't change much, however, as even though there was more time to spend with his father, the boy still clung to his mother. From this point, he lived his life as he had always done, going to school and what not. Six more months went by, until it was decided that Tomonari and his parents were going to move. More specially, the move was to be to Japan, in Iwatodai. He never asked why, and merely went along with it. It wasn't as if there was anything in Australia that Tomonari had a connection to, such as friends, so it went smoothly. Another six months went by after the move, where things would take a rather drastic turn.
It was soon discovered that his mother had some form of cancer, which Tomonari was confused about what was going to happen. He noticed that his mother was essentially bedridden in the hospital, and was rather worried about it. He did not think that she would die, considering the fact that she was with the boy his entire life so far. Still, a week later, Tomonari's mother died because of the cancer. Granted, this probably was a minor thing as opposed to other things that could have happened, but the boy was now thrown into a life without his mother, being forced to live with just his father. It was at this point where Tomonari's timid nature became somewhat more severe, and his fear of his father starting to kick in. It was a bit reasonable, considering the fact that this was an eight year old kid living with a beast of man.
It took about one year at this point before Tomonari began to calm down around his father. From this point, he slowly began to become attatched to his father, as he did with his mother when she was alive. Even still, however, he learned of his father's temper and what not, and despite the fact that the boy was close to his father, he was still scared of him to an extent, and hid that inside him. Aside from this, at age nine, Tomonari had wanted to play baseball. It wasn't a problem at all, and although he wasn't exactly heavy hitter type, he could run rather quickly. That, and he was a decent pitcher, although more of a fill in than anything. He continued this for three years, until he was twelve years old. From here, Tomonari became worried when he realized that school was becoming harder. Worried about this, he ended up quitting baseball to focuse on his schoolwork. He never told his father about this, who in response, didn't bother him on the matter.
During the next three years, Tomonari slowly turned towards staying at home when not at school, and focus on studying. However, when it became apparent that there was only so much he could study, the boy turned to reading other things. It was at this point that he began reading detective novels to pass the time. Soon, these kinds of books became his favorite to read. Since he was at home all the time, and ended up doing various chores, mostly be his own will, and not when his father told him, Tomonari also gained a love of cooking. Due to this, he also made it a goal to become a chef when he grew up. Aside from all of this, nothing else really happened, and he simply lived the way he always had.
Now, at age fifteen, he is now entering Gekkoukan High for his first year of high school. Granted, he assumed he was going to do the same as he had always done. The only recent thing that has happened, is that for his birthday, his father had gotten him a siberian husky puppy as a pet, which Tomonari had named Galahad. From here, the teenager also made sure that he took good care of the puppy, as he was now responsible for it.
