Personality:
Roen is a odd one indeed. When it comes to writing he has a one track mind. Nothing can disturb him. It's like he honestly can't stop himself till he reaches his goal. Though often something shiny can shake him out of this state. Roen's a stubborn one. No one can change his mind when he decides something, even if it's the wrong decision. When he meets someone new he always ends up all shy and quiet. This might come from his fear of change in his life. he's afraid that if he let's someone new in his life then something might happen and his life might radically change for the worse. He also fears the possibility that someone might leave from his life and take a piece of his heart with them.
Thought that's just all of his negative qualities. let's move on to the good bits. Roen is a smart kid. He's often said that he's just 3 points from genius level. Roen tries to analyze any situation and decide on his best course of action. If you get to know him, he's actually a great, loyal, friend. When he sets his mind on something, he's determined to see his decision through to the very end. Even though he might fear change, he is able to adapt himself to fit the situation, even to change his whole personality if need be.

History:
Roen's life was a simple one up till the age of fifteen. He was born and raised in The United States. His father was in the military and an author in his spare time. His mother, who's japanese, worked as a chemistry teacher at a college. His father was almost always away which left just his mother, his twin sister, Hikari, and his cousin Ryo at his house. Ryo was orphaned at the age of six and moved in with Roen's family. When Roen was seven he really got addicted to reading. When Roen was fifteen, his father never came home.
That actually inspired Roen's first book. It was about a war hero who never returned home home to his family. He channeled all of his grief into his book. His book was a big hit commercially. He called it "A Desperate Struggle". His family moved to Inaba one year later. Now he looks for ideas for his next book so he can keep his mind off the fact that his father's actually dead.
