She appreciates a good meal, tends to the needs of her house and plants, and tries to involve little with dramas of an average teenager. She’s a little on the slow side and has difficulty understanding more complex concepts, but it doesn’t mean she won’t try to, at the very least. She’s not the most social, and dislikes crowded areas. Tsu is approachable though, and she enjoys company. The reason for her distance from others is that she is afraid of not being able to understand others’ ideals, and know she can be very cross herself when angered. She is very dependable though. If someone asks her a question or asks for a favor, she will try to accomplish it the best she can. Her ideals and feelings are usually kept to herself, but her emotions can still come through. She has a weakness for stuffed animals and toys, which she finds somewhat embarrassing for her age. CHARACTER TIME PERIOD: Present day, but the coastal where she is from has a bit of a dated, simpler feel to it HISTORY: Tsubame was born in a small village with poor, but hardworking parents. She was was sickly since birth, but neither neglected nor pampered. She had difficulty keeping up with other children and teased often, but she was always welcome in her home. Her mom worked as a gardener, and her father managed a a produce store. Inspired by their passion in their jobs, she grew an interest in gardening herself. When she was ill and had to stay indoors, she often would draw, or work on little crafts. However, In an ironic twist of fate, both of her parents succumbed to sudden illness, and she was sent to live with her older brother, who left for the city. There, she was awestruck by the new marvels of the city, but it did not come without its drawbacks. With her accent and unfamiliarity with urban life, she became very isolated. Her brother wasn’t as much of a comfort either. He is a wealthy businessman, but he often pays more attention to his dependent and clingy wife. Their way of life, revolving around a sort of newlywed passionate romance, gossip, and materialisitc desires does not help. However, she works to make her new home something that she can grow to love.
