He's made a name for himself in how much he doles out the yen for the arcades. Nothing can break his focus and nothing can sway him in this moment, he's at his absolute zenith and in his element, Naoki is his own individual and feels it's only during this time that he can freely express his passions and beliefs without them being bent or contorted by others. Naoki seems to be living the high school ideal. Decent grades, his own set of life long friends and never getting into any kind of trouble (traceable anyways) The most that can be said of him in all his days is that he spends waaaay to much time in shinjuku playing the games, but that's really only because he along with his best friends cover their tracks ever so well. When out of the sight of the general public, along with Chiaki, the leader and Isamu, the smooth talker, the trio get into an array of situations of varying degrees of legality that would make many question their moral compasses. Underage drinking, sex with strangers, drug dealing and doping, raves, raves and more raves. Naoki after dark lives in the fast lane and you damn well couldn't tell it the following morning, even if he only got an hour of sleep the following night. Now surely, no parent would willingly allow such licentious behavior. Well normally yeah, Naoki couldn't get away with it, but Naoki's lifestyle isn't normal. Unlike Chiaki who's grades are so good her parents just let everything slide because regardless she's going somewhere and Isamu who's people just don't give a damn. Naoki lives on his own, his parents are nowhere near Tokyo, living and working tirelessly near Niigata. As far as they know, he's doing great academically so they've no need and no time to check up on him. So he goes on about life. spending less time home than an international businessman. Naoki can't count the number of times he's waken up naked surrounded by bodies he knows and doesn't know and just tosses a square of toast in his mouth and heads off to school.
