Okay, first question. (You'd think I would have been able to figure this one out by now...) How does one go about claiming/trying out for/what-have-you the canon characters? Because I have one in mind I would like to play... I'm just not sure how to go about it.

You go in this thread here and if the canon you want is listed, just post saying you'd like to try out for them. They'll be reserved for 5 days and you'll have to make a profile for them over here before that period is up. If the 5 days pass before you have finished your profile, you can extend the claim for 5 more days by posting in that thread again, or you can just try to finish the profile before someone else snags them.

Keep in mind that reserves are just to show who's planning to take which canon. This means that if someone else manages to make a profile for them and get accepted, it's still fair. We follow a "first come, first served" rule. The same goes for Original Character Face Claims and Persona Claims. Canon Characters have no need to make a Face Claim, and those who possess a Persona in their game don't need to make a Persona Claim. Canon Characters who do not have a Persona in their games, however, do need to claim a Persona.

Once your profile is done, a staff member will review it. If it's accepted, it'll get moved to this board and the canon list will be updated to show that the canon is now played by you.
