She has not been the victim of any temporal abnormalities. HISTORY: The story of Voilé starts eighteen years ago on a lazy September afternoon. Normally, the birth of a child is joyous occasion, and the surprise of two at once is hardly ever a reason for anger. However, the births of Violetta and Fierro Auirantine were met with no such joy. The twin boy and girl were delivered in the extravagant mansion that would be their prison for many upcoming years; and for one of the unlucky pair, this would be the last time that they would see their birth mother. The newest siblings in one of the numerous dysfunctional families of the world, Vi and Fi were given to the expert care of world class child care professionals for their first years; that way they would not interfere with the carefully laid out plans of the senior Auirantine family members. During these early years the two were cared for and loved twenty-four hours by a staff of strangers. However, these sweet innocent times could not and would not last forever, and both were quickly swept up into shadowy world that was their family heritage. Once they had been deemed of age to begin their indoctrination into the Auirantine lifestyle, Violetta and Fierro were torn out of the life of their beloved sibling first time. They still lived under the same roof, but neither would even see evidence alluding to the existence of the other, such was the size of Auirantine estate and the manner of their training. It would be seven years before Fierro would see his sister again. Like any child taken away from someone they had become accustomed to, Fierro was broken by the separation from his sister. He soon fell into depression, which ended up making him more vulnerable to the lessons his teachers wanted to impart. They manipulated his emotions, using them to nurture sadistic tendencies in the boy's heart. They sought to bring out in him, a contempt for others—to make him see humanity as objects to be used and abused as he saw fit. For years, Fierro's psyche was corrupted, his outlook on the world twisted so that he would make the perfect successor for his father. As planned, it only took a few short years for Fierro to become a monster who saw it fit to take advantage of any form of human life and cast aside anyone who was not useful to the family as offal. He had learned how to ruthlessly torture, inflict pain upon, and compel compliance from the wretches his family controlled. He was no prodigy, but the knowledge required had been broken down into a format even a child could comprehend with time and careful training. In time did not see the people he dealt with as people, slaves, or pets—they simply were 'things', shapeless, soulless things not even important enough to be have permanent designators. Countless horrors were inflicted on the poor innocents that had the misfortune of becoming Auirantine property; and all at the hand of a child who had been forged into an instrument of pain. The cycle acquisition, breaking, and training continued for years, until one day Fierro was instructed to break in a new acquisition to the pens, a girl his age. Fierro recognized his sister immediately, and the very sight of her in such a ragged state shattered his reality. Memories suppressed by years of training came surging back to the surface, breaking through the mental barriers set by numerous teachers over the years. Both excited and confused, Fierro learned quickly of his sister's fate, of how she had been deemed useless as anything more than offal and cast into chains after suffering a time in her own personal hell at the hands of their progenitor. Fierro was taken aback at what he learned from his sister, and for the first time, he felt the weight of guilt over his own part in things. Indignation set Fierro down a different path, one that would begin with sanctuary for his sister. At first the plan seemed simple, Fierro would take Violetta's place, accepting her punishment by taking her place. The process was not easy, but Fierro felt cleansed by the pain inflicted upon his flesh, and each lash only served to strengthen his resolve. However, this foolish plan did not last long, and soon both were brought before their father for judgment. Fierro's new-found humanity disturbed his father, and while he did not even seem to care about Violetta, the man was furious at his son's disobedience. Fierro was given a chance to redeem himself, to right his wrong by breaking in Violetta as he was supposed to, but the boy refused. Furious at his son's actions, Gustaav Auirantine ordered the girl be broken in immediately, and when Fierro rose to protect his sister, he was made to watch the abuse first-hand. Later Fierro learned that Violetta did not survive the session, she expired not long after being dragged from the chamber. The next years of Fierro's life were filled with change. With his sister gone, Fierro was made to take her place. In more ways than one, Fierro became Violetta, and like her, he knew that he would never bend to the atrocities that enveloped him. As Violetta, Fierro endured where many could not. The years of abuse only made him stronger, and he knew death would only reunite him with his sister once again, which was more than a pleasant enough thought. Fierro, now Violetta, had already blossomed into a woman when a stop was finally put to the atrocities perpetrated by the Auirantine family. Justice was never truly doled out, but many lives were saved once Angelina Auirantine was made aware of just how the money she accumulated was being spent. The divorce was rather low profile, and the separation of assets was the only wound suffered by Gustaav and his vile misdeeds. Soon after liberation, Violetta was able to meet her Mother, but their relationship was cool and distant. Angelina was ever quick to throw money at any problem that came along, even if that problem was a strained relationship with her would-be daughter. Still, Violetta was able to adapt to this new life quickly, and used it as a means to separate herself from her past. As of late, Violetta has assumed a new identity in order to better get in touch with herself. She spent time traveling the world with her mother, but has decided to remain in Japan for the time being. Settling down with a business associate of her Mother has been a little rough, but only because social hardships were not the kind she was had grown accustomed to dealing with. Still, she retains a positive outlook on the future and hopes that she'll be able to live the life she believe Violetta deserved. [/style]

Long ago she has became Violetta, and so she must continue on for Violetta's sake, but at the same time, she must do all she can to sacrifice herself for Violetta's sake. This knowledge is part of the core reasoning that allows Voilé to continue on through all adversity. PERSONA Saint Eulalia, co-patron saint of Barcelona. One might believe that she appears much like she may have in life, a young child no older than thirteen. In this new form, her human aspects have melded with those of a sidhe, as depicted by her large almond shaped eyes, and tattered diaphanous wings. Her long dark hair flows in messy tangles down her back and is bound only by a simple crown of woven rose stems. Her simple garb hangs loosely from her bloody body, and lies tattered in places. Her smooth flesh is painted with both new and old blood, but she herself appears unmarked beneath the layer. Her passing is marked by the pristine feathers of a dove. Like her Persona, Voilé is in possession of a willpower to endure all trials that beset her. She too endured torture at the hands of men who sought to change her way of life for their own reason, and she too refused to submit to their will. Also, like Voilé is thought to be another person by those few her know of her past, much like Saint Eulalia of Barcelona is believed to be Saint Eulalia of Mérida who's legend shares many similar points. In the end, it is an enduring spirit and willful determination to sacrifice oneself for their beliefs that tie these two together. HIGH AFFINITY: As one might expect, Saint Eulalia possesses a high level of tolerance for abuse. As knives, broken glass, and stones did not break her in life, these PHYSICAL threats mean little to her wielder. As the flames of man did nothing to deter her spirit of righteousness, FIRE fails to burn Voilé as severely as it would another. As the sweet cloying words of evil men could not seduce her into sacrilege, DARK attributed skills wash over her possessor like harmless rainwater. LOW AFFINITY: Along with Eulalia's hefty resistances, comes a list of weaknesses. The virginal child had no resistance to the LIGHT, in fact, she sought it's comforting grace out. While flames do little to harm the saint, she is loathe to being imprisoned, especially when her shackles are crafted from cold, uncaring ICE. SKILLS: Saint Eulalia is not a combative Persona. In fact, she learns no offensive skills naturally and is not compatible with many at all. Instead she is focused around survival of her host and grants power to endure the adversity offered by the dark. The primary active skill imparted by Saint Eulalia is RAKUKAJA. Rakukaja is a technique that further reduces the damage suffered from attacks by raising one's defense supernaturally. The protection offered is brief, but can provide a major advantage if used at the right time—especially since it can make the difference from being knocked to one's knees and being knocked unconscious and put at the whim of one's opponents. As a persona, Saint Eulalia is focused on survival, both for her host and their allies. As such, her mystical strength is oriented around dispelling the powers of the encroaching darkness. PATRA, her second technique, shares with a victim of evil Eulalia's soothing voice.
