He was at first rather reluctant because he liked to keep to his books, but after awhile got use to having her around (save for the occasional sibling annoyance). Ichigo went to live with his father. His father was the one who owned the detective novels and gave him the knowledge and basic know how of how to be one. (Aside from all the Sherlock Holmes novels) However, his father advised him to not make the mistakes he has made in regards to relationships. "Don't let yourself be fooled by the comforts of a relationship with anyone, friend or family. There might come a day where it will just collapse around you." Ichigo was confused about those words. Ichigo never found the logic behind his father's words really sound. Ichigo still valued the relationship with his sister and he was sure his sister felt the same way. Ringo still valued both Momo and Ichigo as cousins. Admittedly at the time Ichigo could not find an example that wasn't family. So for now, he pretended to believe what his father said. Ichigo was shown to a prodigy during his days in high school and in college. Easily acceding in martial arts and passing a majority with classes with hard work and dedication. He would eventually enter the detective field. After which, Ichigo hardly made contact with his father. After a year or so of great detective work, he was eventually transferred over to the Inaba Police Station. It was his own request to have the transfer happen, as he liked Inaba plus it was a train ride away from his cousin and hsi family. He would live in Inaba and he was blessed with the opportunity to look after his younger sister something he is really thankful for his mother.
