Aigis stand at a modest height of 5‘3 and weights much more then it appears she does due to her inner robotic workings. Her hair is chin-length and platinum blonde and her eyes are a light baby blue. Due to being a robot, there is very little need for her to wear clothing as her “body” was built to look like a white cat-suit with gold trims. The only noticeably humanoid thing about this outfit in the collar and large red bow around her neck and the headband with red pistons attached. When it is necessary for her to be disguised from the general public Aigis wears the standard female Gekkoukan uniform along with knee-length black socks and black loafers or a long blue-and-white dress. OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Aigis is a bit of an oddity.

Initially, Aigis’s personality was - for a lack of a better word - very bland. She had a very basic understand the nuances of human interaction, feelings and what seemed to be a budding sense of humour ( most likely influenced by Ikutsuki), but was still largely stiff and clinical in her dealings with everyone. Her only concerns in life were to obey orders and to protect the respective protagonists by any means possible.

However, over the course of her time with SEES she grows incredibly fast and ends up developing feelings and thoughts beyond her programming that reach a fruition after two major hardships the group has to solider through. The Aigis that exists at the end of Persona 3 is an entirely different being, in the sense she has gone from being little more than an inanimate object into a person.

Aigis the person still maintains her curiosity, but it is more along the lines of child-like wonder then a computer seeking answers. She is incredibly loyal to her friends and very compassionate; people are her reason for living and those close to her are most important. Aigis is very honest about her feelings, but not in a way that comes off as blunt, she is incredibly sincere with herself and others in terms of her emotions despite her limited understanding of them and constant confusion as to why she feels certain things. In her naivety and newness to emotion, she often finds herself easily taken away by anger or following gut feelings. She in incredibly dependant on those around her for emotional support, but understandably so.

Unfortunately, due to the unique situation of time in this universe, Aigis has regressed. Her incomplete memory and loss of understanding of the world have made her fall back on her former robotic programming and occasionally impulsively follows the thin threads of what is left of her compassion.

PERSONA:
The Palladion (or Palladium) was a statue or image that was erected in Greek and Roman cities to both symbolised and provide great protection and safety. The most famous of these was the palladion of the goddess Pallas Athena that was stolen from Troy by Odysseus and Diomedes. In modern times, the word has come to be a catch-all term for “protection”.

Aigis at the beginning of her journey is a hollow shell meant to imitate a person much in the same way a Palladion was supposed to be the hollow man-made attempt at bringing the power of a god to a city. Aigis’s motivations and functions are limited to very basic concepts; one of these being the need to protect people physically, just as the Palladion was supposed to do. The fact that the most famous Palladion was of Pallas Athena who happens to be Aigis’s ultimate person reflects her growth. She has evolved from a symbol and a concept of protect that was limited to an actual being capable of protecting all facets of a person as an individual.
