His eyes are hazel colored. Aside from the school uniform, on his days of Ryouta normally dresses in a gothic manner, wearing mostly black. usually his t-shirts are black with an intricate design on the front that usually looks like a demonic symbol of some sort or might be from an anime he likes. He'll also wear black, loose-fit jeans with a black belt that has a black tile pattern to it. although he also wears white sometimes that also bear similar designs. Originally he had to wear glasses but he uses contacts now and he always carries his favorite pocket watch around. The center circle of his pocket watch looks like gears from a clock tower while the outlining circle has a crescent, waxing moon on the left side while the rest of the lining is white. the clock hands are gold metal that are designed to look like a grand father clock's hands and the casing for the pocket watch is gold colored with a gold chain. The metal on the casing is very shiny and can show a person's reflection on it. It is his most favorite belonging. It consisted of just him, his mother, and father as he was just an only child. His parents had worked for a large company and because of that, they were always on the move. usually every one or two years they would move to a different city. That didn't stop them from being a good family though. It wasn't until when Ryouta was 12 years old when his mother got hit by a drunk driver while on her way back from some errands she wars running. she had been hospitalized for 3 weeks before she had finally passed away. Before she died though, she gave Ryouta a pocket watch that she had bought while she was out. she had meant to give it to him for his birthday but was never able to make it through to there. After her death, Ryouta's father had gone into a depression and so had Ryouta. His father would go out drinking at night while ignoring Ryouta, which in turn made Ryouta's depression even worse and he ended up resenting his father. after Ryouta had finished elementary school, they ended up having to move to a new city where Ryouta would begin middle school. Ryouta was still devastated from the loss of his mother and had trouble making friends. He was always quiet and spoke quietly. With each passing year it got worse too. As he got older, the other kids would make fun of him for being so quiet and would often pick on him. He didn't know how to defend himself and nobody would stick up for him, so he would end up taking the punishment from them and not fight back. It wasn't until near the end of his 2nd year that it got bad to the point that he would get severely beaten up. His father was too depressed to notice or he wasn't home at all. All this made Ryouta think it was his fault for how things are. At the age of 15, he started becoming distant towards others. it was the last year of middle school and he was still the target for bullies. One day on his way home from school the bullies ambushed him. They grabbed him and tossed him into one of the local ponds. This is where Ryouta changes. He gets up and takes on the bullies, at first they were beating him up but Ryouta managed to turn the tides and get the better of them. Afterwards the bullies left him alone and Ryouta continued the school year in peace. Nobody talked to him and he never spoke to anyone. After finally finishing middle school, Ryouta and his father have to move again and they end up having to move to the city of Iwatodai. They lived in an apartment complex on Port Island. Ryouta's father ends up enrolling Ryouta into Gekkoukan High School. His father would end up staying out at night drinking. This made Ryouta furious and he ends up telling his father off, calling him out as the terrible dad he is and says that he probably caused his mom to die. This really upset his dad and he ended up punsching Ryouta across the face. Ryouta shocked at what his father had done fell silent. Realizing that his father really did despise him. He then tells his dad that he will die miserable and alone and that he would make sure he was alone. A few nights later, his father goes out drinking and ends up crashing into a tree in a park. He suffered from a concussion and shortly later died. When Ryouta learns of this, he starts crying. now he was truly alone. He manages to find a job so that he can keep living in the apartment. He learns valuable work skills which he uses to do odd jobs from time to time to make some extra cash. A few months later he would start his first year at Gekkoukan High. His reason is because he thinks nobody could ever like him and believes they shouldn't have to deal with him. Though he seems to be happy he has conflicting feelings. Deep down he yearns to make good friends which always leaves him in deep thought about his life. He is considered to be an outcast from everyone else and will refuse to do anything about it and makes him prone to depression. Should someone show concern for him he will have no idea what to do and try to get away. PERSONA: Nue The Nue is a mythological creature from Japanese folklore. a mysterious creature, it is said to have the head of a monkey, the body of a tanuki, the legs of a tiger, and a snake for a tail. In reality though, the nue is capable of changing its appearance to its benefits and is often a feared creature of the night. In actuality, it's true form has never been seen before. Nue is similar to Ryouta, as both hide their true selves. Ryouta hides his true feelings through bitterness while the Nue hides it's true form from humans. Nue is also known to be a very lonely creature, leisurely terrifying humans with the unknown. Ryouta is just a loner who has a hard time talking to people though.
