Hey guys.
Some of you know already, but some of you might not... I'm starting Air Force Basic Training on Tuesday. I'll be away for at least 8 weeks during that, maybe longer depending on how badly I do or how busy they keep me.
Since I don't know when my schedule will allow me to log in, I'm stepping down from staff until I'm in a more stable situation. But I will be back as soon as I can, I promise.

Good luck. I tried getting into the military once... got stonewalled by a particularly paranoid doctor at M.E.P.S. Took me looking up at the ceiling in my impatience toward the end of the day as a sign of mental impairment and required a complete medical history to prove that I'd never been diagnosed with anything. When I gave them that, they said my psyche evaluation records were "missing." Well, of course they were; I've never had one. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle, and truthfully in the extra time I had to think I decided I might not really be cut out for that life, even if it WAS just the reserves (Active Duty was all full up at the time).

I hope it all works out for you. I know you can get a lot out of the military, if you've the stones to get through it.
