Physical Description:
Makoto is 5'7 ft, weighing at 120 lbs. He is slender, with dark blue hair and eyes. He has a white complexion and small and pointed nose. His hair is cut short, but slightly long so that his face is always half concealed. He often has his hands in his pockets, unless he's about to fight – in which case, he holds his fists up. He often has a slightly bored or aloof expression on his face and when he smiles, it rarely reaches his eyes. Makoto also has a long scar on his right arm; he doesn't know how he got it.
In terms of clothing, when not in uniform, Makoto mostly wears blue jeans with a short-sleeve shirt.

Makoto is someone with whom it is easy to get along. He is very non-judgmental and is a good listener and friend. Once you get in his good books, he'll stand by you. Makoto is a defender as well, often standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves. Despite his withdrawn appearance, he has a good heart and can be quite caring. He is also smart and has a very calm, laid-back demeanor.

Makoto is very quiet and secretive. He rarely reveals much about himself and keeps his emotions bottled up. He can also be quite lazy and despite his academic skills, sometimes lets his grades slip.
Makoto can also become quite violent when provoked. Although he never outwardly shows anger, when irked, he skips the diplomacy part, delivering swift physical damage. He would never hurt a girl, but he has engaged in several fist fights with bullies and other victims that he felt deserved what came.
Behind his seemingly confident character is a deep-rooted insecurity, anger, and internal pain. He suffers from not knowing where he comes from and recently, had to deal with the grief of his adoptive father's death.
Makoto can also appear very aloof and unfeeling, rarely showing emotions such as happiness. He hides a very sensitive and caring boy underneath the surface.
Overall Personality:
Makoto is a good-hearted boy who is easy to get along with. He is extremely loyal to his friends, ready to protect, help, and stand up for them whenever they need him. He enjoys hanging out with his friends, although he sometimes withdraws from them when he is going through emotional turmoil. Makoto never shares his personal feelings with his friends, the only real “emotion” he shows in front of others being his anger – which he displays through physical violence. Despite his slender and seemingly frail built, he is a strong and efficient fighter. He loves boxing and it is his main emotional outlet. Makoto falls in love easily and treats his girlfriends with kindness and generosity, even if he can lack in affection. He never has yet ended a romantic relationship on bad terms with a girl.

History:
Makoto was adopted when he was five years old. He doesn't remember anything before being adopted and his real parents are unknown. His adoptive parents are Hana Akiyama and Kenji Koizumi. His mother is a gentle and caring mother that is just as quiet and withdrawn as her son. His adoptive father was an affectionate man who worked as a big shot business man. He often worked long hours and rarely saw his son. Kenji died last year under mysterious circumstances. He was found dead in an alley way, the cause of death unknown.
Family:
His real family is completely unknown. His adoptive family now consists only of his mother Hana and his mother's mother, Maki Akiyama. His grandmother is a psychic and his whole life, she has been giving him cryptic warning about his future.
Acquaintances/Friends:
Makoto's closest buddies are all from his boxing club. He also has several friends from his soccer club.
Rivals/Enemies:
Makoto makes enemies almost as easily as he makes friends. All his enemies are those who have tasted his wrath in physical fights.
Romantic Interest:
Makoto falls easily for the shy, gentle type. He doesn't currently have a romantic interest.
Other:
Makoto has a pet grey cat whom he named Hoshi. Hoshi is five years old and rather small for a cat.

Arcana:
Makoto's Arcana is the Chariot. Despite is deceivingly gentle and reserved nature, Makoto has always been violent. He often handles his problems with his fists, being very effective with physical attacks. In “war”, he is always the victor, because of his incredible strength and swiftness. Makoto is also a very self-controlled person, never showing his emotions, but instead, handling situations efficiently. He is a natural-born leader and due to his self-confident and assertive exterior, people trust him to lead.
Persona:
Makoto's Persona is the Japanese demon Oni. He has messy black hair and sharp, ridiculously long teeth. He has dark blue skin, exactly like the color of Makoto's hair, and sharp claws on his hands and feet. Oni also has long horns that are almost as long as his head. He has an insane look in his eyes and wears a tiger skin loincloth.
Oni and Makoto are very similar in that Oni is a very strong Japanese demon. Oni's are supposedly undefeatable or invisible. Makoto often seems that way to his fellow peers as he never loses in a fist fight. Oni are also violent demons that are intimidating and ferocious. Although Makoto doesn't look intimidating at first glance, once he gets angry, he is extremely frightening and violent. Oni are impulsive demons and, in a way, Makoto is an impulsive fighter. He doesn't tend to think very long before dealing his lethal blows.
