Ruu's personality is unpredictable and governed by who he is with. If he is with close friends, he is bright and cheerful; if a person he is not fond of is around he becomes withdrawn and moody for the rest of the day. He's a fun person to be around, but only those closest to him know his true nature; mere acquaintances regard him as a simple-minded goof ball. He often takes small things into consideration and worries more than he should, but his frustration and deep thoughts are not known by most. When thinking, his face contorts into overly dramatic expressions that can clue others in to how he is feeling.

History:
Ruu was previously kicked out of school for truancy and he is now trying to rebuild his standing as a good student. He studies very hard and tries to do well in classes because he received a second chance, but he is plagued by memories of abuse and deceit. He lives with his emotionally abusive mother who has abused him in such a way since childhood and wants nothing more than to live away from her. During the time he was absent from school, he was living with his ex lover who cheated on him upwards of three times. Because of his codependent nature and fairy tale like vision of love, he stayed in the relationship and tried to ignore what they both knew. One night, in a fit of rage, he sliced his own wrist deeply enough to make him faint within minutes. Unfortunately for him, he woke up in a hospital bed alive. Ever since that day, he tried to live peacefully without confrontation or pain in his life, leaving the person he gave everything to in the past. However, he still craves a love in his life that will make him feel worth something.
